Kreisler might be one of the greatest violinists ever known. He composed a lot of works for violin and piano. In 1910 he wrote the avant-garde piece ‘Tambourin Chinois’, in which he experiments with exotic tunes. The piece is a celebration of faraway lands and sounds very surprising and fun. Excentric violinist Ray Chen performs 'Tambourin Chinois' together with Amsterdam Sinfonietta.
