The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Slobodeniouk, performs a selection from the magical ballet 'Cinderella' by Prokofiev in The AVROTROS Friday Concert of the 16th of November 2018. Prokofiev wrote the music with Volkovs scenario in mind. It is one of the most popular compositions of all times, mostly because of its fairy like melodies. But the ballet is also notable for its lush scenery, comical roles and jubilant notes.
