Behind the Scenes of Gautier Capuçon: Schumann

Photography for Gautier Capuçon’s Schumann album took place in the enchanting gardens and streets of Versailles, France. At the heart of the album is the famous Schumann Cello Concerto, performed with Bernard Haitink and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Listen:
Other works performed on the album are Adagio and Allegro, Fantasiestücke Op. 73, Fünf Stücke im Volkston, and Fantasiestücke Op. 88, performed with pianist Martha Argerich and violinist (and Gautier’s brother) Renaud Capuçon.
