Blue Jay blissfully sun bathes in the hottest part of the day. Always fascinating to watch, but this one is really relaxed and not alert. I'm thinking one of the reasons this is a special spot is because the birds can scout the area for threats and be reasonably confident they won't be disturbed for a few minutes, and also the hottest part of the day is generally the time potential predators are inactive?
