Gordon Hayward scored 21 points on a perfect 9-9 from the field as he became the first Celtic to shoot 9-9 or better from the field since Robert Parish (9-9 on 3/24/1990 at NYK) and led the Celtics to a 117-97 victory over the Pacers. Jayson Tatum added 22 points (9-19 FG) and 7 rebounds for the Celtics. Myles Turner led the Pacers with 15 points (5-8 FG) and 7 rebounds, while Domantas Sabonis totaled 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Celtics improve to 48-32, while the Pacers fall to 47-33 on the season.

The Celtics currently hold the 4-seed in the Eastern Conference over the 5-seed Pacers by 1.0 game and trail the 76ers for the 3-seed by 1.5 games.
