First-prize winner of the 6th China International Piano Competition, Han Chen then released his debut CD, of Liszt opera transcriptions, on Naxos Records.
A modern-music enthusiast, the pianist collaborated with Juilliard’s new-music ensemble, AXIOM, and is on the roster of the New York-based Ensemble Échappé.
