In this video I want to give you step by step plan, on how to fix a skinny fat body.
So if. you wondering how the skinny fat looks this picture will answer that question.
In this case, we have 2 problems to fix
1. Excess fat, but not too much
2. Lack of muscle.
If we decide that FAT is our number 1 enemy, and choose the fat burning approach first, which means that we should reduce total calorie consumption to get in a calorie deficit and start doing strength and cardio workouts, then in 1 or 2 months we will end up looking like this - you will decrease fat % but you will build no or very little muscle, and so you are going to look weak. And I guess that this is now what you want.
The second approach is to fix the lack of muscle first. It means that we will create a small calorie surplus to help our body build muscle freely and we will run a basic hypertrophy program for the period from 4 to 8 months. For this period of time you should gain around 10-15 pounds or 5-8 kg and due to the small surplus most of this weight will be muscles, and your total fat % should not change or increase just a little. Your final look will be something like this. Bigger and stronger - this is what we want. Then you will run a 1-2 month fat burning phase to decrease excess fat and there you are muscular and shredded.
So this is your final game plan.
1. Use a calorie calculator to find out your ideal calorie surplus and build your meals around this number.
2. Find your self great hypertrophy program and run it for 4-8 months slowly building things up.
3. After you gain 10-15 pounds, run a cutting phase, to get the shredded look.
Focus not so much on the final goal, but rather the satisfaction from every workout and every meal that is getting you closer to your goal.
