Franco Baggiani has been active since the late '80s in numerous formations of a different kind in Italy and abroad: he has performed in Canada, Germany, France, Czechoslovakia, England, Jordan and in many theaters and festivals throughout Italy. A versatile musician and teacher of great quality, his work has focused on modern music and jazz. He has worked in various capacities with many musicians including Steve Lacy, Michael Moore, Paolo Fresu, Stefano Bollani, Ares Tavolazzi, Stefano Cocco Cantini, Pippo Matino, Enzo Pietropaoli, Riccardo Fassi, Antonello Salis, Luigi Cinque, Irene Grandi, Neon, and many others. He has composed original music for theater and television and has a discography of over twenty albums of many in his own name and in 2009 was posted by Jazz among the best Italian trumpet (see www.soundrecords.it). Teacher serious and scrupulous among its students many great trumpet players and is also known for the excellent way in the approach to the brassfor children and beginners.

Franco Baggiani è attivo professionalmente dalla fine degli anni '80 in numerosissime formazioni di genere diverso in tutta Italia e all'estero: si è esibito in Canada, Germania, Francia, Cecoslovacchia, Inghilterra, Giordania nonché in moltissimi teatri e festival in tutta Italia. Musicista poliedrico e docente di grande qualità, la sua attività è concentrata sulla musica moderna e sul jazz. Ha collaborato a vario titolo con moltissimi musicisti fra cui Steve Lacy, Micheal Moore, Paolo Fresu, Stefano Bollani, Ares Tavolazzi, Stefano Cocco Cantini, Pippo Matino, Enzo Pietropaoli, Riccardo Fassi, Antonello Salis, Luigi Cinque, Irene Grandi, Neon, e tanti altri. Ha composto musiche originali per teatro e televisione ed ha una discografia di oltre venti album di cui molti a nome proprio e nel 2009 è stato inserito da Musica jazz fra i migliori trombettisti italiani (vedi www.soundrecords.it). Docente serio e scrupoloso annovera fra i suoi allievi moltissimi ottimi trombettisti ed è conosciuto anche per l'ottimo metodo nell'approccio agli ottoni per i bambini ed i principianti.
