Lou Williams led all scorers with 27 points (9-14 FG), to go along with 10 assists and 3 rebounds for the Clippers off the bench, while Montrezl Harrell added 23 points (9-13 FG), 11 rebounds and 5 assists of his own off the bench for the Clippers. Malik Monk led the Hornets with a team-high 24 points (7-14 FG), while Kemba Walker tallied 13 points (6-18 FG), 4 rebounds and 5 assists in the losing effort. Four different Clippers finished with 20 or more points. With the win, the Clippers improve to 24-16 on the season, while the Hornets fall to 19-21.
