The 76ers defeated the Rockets tonight in Philadelphia by a final score of 121-93. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 32 points (9-16 FG) 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. Embiid now has an NBA-high 20 games with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds. The only other player in 76ers history with 20 games of 30+ points and 10+ rebounds in a season before the All-Star Game was Wilt Chamberlain, who had 28 such games before the break in 1965-66. James Harden led all scorers with 37 points (12-26 FG), to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assists for the Rockets. Harden joins Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to have a streak of 20 or more games with 30+ points. Harden is also now averaging 40+ points over the last 23 games, passing Rick Barry and tying Kobe Bryant for the 3rd longest streak of games averaging at least 40 points.
