IAA 2017: An Outlook on the complete electrification at Mercedes-Benz

Three world premieres at the 2017 International Auto Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Germany, give an outlook on the continuing electrification at Mercedes-Benz. At the center of the presentation is the fully electric Concept EQA, the first of this new brand in the compact segment.

A fuel cell plug-in hybrid vehicle will also make its first ever appearance at the event. The Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL EQ Power combines practical advantages such as a long range and short hydrogen fuelling times with locally emission-free driving.

With the new, electrically powered smart vision EQ fortwo, the brand is exhibiting a study by the recently founded product and technology brand EQ as a world premiere. This fully autonomously driving concept car is the first model to comprehensively embody all four pillars of the corporate strategy CASE: ”Connected“, ”Autonomous“, ”Shared“ and ”Electric“.
