VO Lao-German technical school students to touch real equipments
INTRO: Lao and German Technical School received aid package from the Government of Germany worth more than 1.1 million euros to better education equipments with new technology. According to German Ambassador to Laos Robert von Rimscha, the assistance aims at improving vocational training for students, because this school's works are to produce artisans for local factories.
STORY: The inauguration of new equipments following the completed refurbishment project LGTS on June 20 in Vientiane Capital between Vice Minister of Education and Sports Kongsy Sengmany and German Ambassador to Laos Robert von Rimscha
It is highlighted that, vocations learning is a vital contribution to national development, which labourers with skills is a high demand of the country and overseas and from now, over 800 students of the Lao-German Technical School will have better opportunities by touching the real practices after learning theory thanks to the Germany's educational equipment assistance.
German Ambassador to Laos Robert von Rimscha said "our government has helped constructing many vocational schools and equipped them with education facilities for practice nationwide. The handing over of new education equipments with new technology aims at improving vocational training for students, because this school's works are to produce artisans for local factories"

In the recent year, the Germany government has helped constructing this school considering to a remarkable friendship and cooperation between Laos and Germany, he said. The Lao-German Technical School, located in km 3 Tha Deua road, was established in 1964 under the assistance of German Government. This school produces hundreds of artisans to serve society.
