Terrence Ross led the Magic with 26 points (14 in the 4th quarter), while Nikola Vucevic contributed 25 points (12-22 FG), 12 rebounds and 2 blocks in the victory. Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 23 points (9-19 FG), along with 5 rebounds and 6 assists, while Al Horford added 18 points (7-12 FG), 7 assists and 2 steals in the losing effort. With the win, the Magic improve to 41-40, while the Celtics fall to 48-33 on the season.

The magic currently hold the 7-seed in the Eastern Conference, 1.5 games ahead of the 8-seed Pistons, while the Celtics hold the 4-seed and have clinched homecourt advantage in the first round.
