A few years ago I made a video about salt lamps and it is perhaps the spiciest video we have on the channel. (the comment section is very very heated)

In this video I basically break down why salt lamps are fake. (because they are)

People have claimed these himilayian salt lamps purify the air, increase energy, and do a laundry list of other supposedly awesome things… but none of the claims are based in science. In fact Veritasium did an awesome video debunking salt lamps as well.

So while this cool looking pink salt doesn’t actually have health benefits it does look super cool, and this got me wondering if it would be possible to actually melt down himalayin salt and then cast something out of that salt?
