At the 2015 Goodwood Revival, Porsche stepped back in time to bring its performance story to life. Among the car lovers in vintage 1940s, 50s and 60s dress, we were thrilled to go back to the origins of the Porsche Spyder concept, displaying both the original 550 Spyder from the 1950s, and the 718 RS61 Spyder that followed.
Low to the ground, lightweight and optimised for racing, the cars illustrate a philosophy that can be traced all the way to today's Boxster Spyder. This most uncompromising Boxster is a radical return to the origins of the Spyder concept: lower, stiffer, lighter, it perfectly illustrates Porsche’s commitment to innovation through the evolution of proven concepts.
*Combined fuel consumption in accordance with EU 6: 9.9 l/100km; CO2 emission: 230 g/km
