This is a compilation of our "best" science fails from 2021... because in science things don't always go as planned!
The first clip is when we fill up too much liquid nitrogen into our LN2 rockets... the result is that too much pressure builds and the PET container (2L bottle) fails. This can also be because of the plastic having micro-fissures and just too much pressure building too fast leading to the bottle splitting quickly.
The second clip is when The Hacksmith and I tried to hang off an I-beam with his Thors Hammer (mega magnet)... the issue was not the hammer but actually our ability to physically support ourselves!
The third clip is our LN2 super cloud mixed with soap and paint. The funny thing about these is that you just never know what direction the wind will blow...hence raining down the contents on you if you're not careful! The guy in the video with me is Danny Berk
The fourth clip is our friend Dillon losing grip of an LN2 rocket. This happens quite a bit as they are hard to control when the jet propulsion takes place. The jet also exploded once it hit the ground!
The 5th clip is team member Brandon Garnsey getting rained by our GIANT LN2 experiment over at David Dobrik's house. He did an awesome job filming as the wind changed and well... stained everything blue including David's neighbor's house (we got it power washed tho).
And the last clip is a jumbo 5-gallon LN2 rocket... this one slipped out of my hands (because they are over 45lbs fully filled with water) and it literally blasted the camera we had positioned next to it... there is still dust in the lens :/
