The Suns defeated the Pelicans in overtime by a final score of 138-136. Devin Booker paved the way for the Suns with 40 points (12-26 FG), to go with 5 rebounds and 13 assists, while Kelly Oubre, Jr. registered a career-high 32 points (12-25 FG), to go with 6 rebounds and 2 steals in the victory. Julius Randle led the Pelicans with a team-high 21 points, to go with 11 rebounds and 5 assists, while Elfrid Payton recorded his 4th consecutive triple-double (5th of season, 15th of his career) with 16 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high tying 16 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Suns improve to 17-54, while the Pelicans fall to 30-42 on the season.
