In Germany the high-Speed train is called the "ICE"==Inter city Express whereas in France it's called the "TGV"==Train Grand vitesse.Germany has a history of unbeatable speed record,in the 30s the train tech in Germany was already far ahead of any nation on earth.Trains in Germany as of that time was doing 200km\h when other nations were just about 80-120 km\h.So it's not surprising to see that Germany is still very much doing well if not still ahead in this Area.The first "Electromagnetic" bullet train in the world which runs Shanghai Airport to the main Land was developed by the German tech Giant,SIEMENS AG. and built in conjunction with ThyssenKrupp AG another German industrial tech giant Based in Duisburg & Essen,Germany.In 2010 SIEMENS presented its new generation super high speed train at the Berlin technology show,the "Velaro Siemens", and many of it has since been ordered by the German train operator,the DB and others.So beautiful and equipped with advance tech that even the "Euro-star" which has been operating their company with the ALSTOM made TGV has now been attracted to Siemens' new presentation for orders and refurbishment of their old ones.The French ALSTOM which has won the public for the record speed it set in 2007 also presented its new generation type in Berlin but much attentions was on the Siemens velaro...
