Richie Porte destroys the tour down under stage 6 up Willunga Hill. Instantly though I looked at how he could have gotten some free speed that would have opened up his winning margin like I did that night with the chiang mai bicycle (I opened it up real good for Michael).
Anyways I feel if Richie Porte was on the non disc trek emonda slr he would have saved some seconds because everyone who has ridden disc brakes on a road bike at full tilt knows the bike is just slower AND if Richie Porte had a mirror on his bike he could have saved at least 10 seconds on that climb because his breathing cycle would have been more optimum instead of cramped due to looking back about 11 times or so. Like I predicted Richie Porte would dominate on Willunga Hill. Nobody can match him when he throws it in the big dog and gives it the old heave hoe.
