American Robins are one of the most widely distributed and familiar songbirds, but they are under appreciated. They are just as happy in the forest and mountain stream as they are on suburban lawns and I've seen them at 10 thousand feet elevation in the Wind River area of Wyoming. They love water and are quite attractive in their own right.
