GIANT Jolly Rancher Sword w/ TKOR !!

We’ve done experiments with Jolly Ranchers in the past (Glass Blowing Jolly Ranchers) and we’ve learned that they are quite moldable and shapeable. For this reason I was curious if we would be able to make a giant Jolly Rancher sword!?!?

The first step was to see if we could make something smaller like a dagger. This turned out very well and it looked almost like a popsicle.

For the “scale up” we built a giant mold of a Buster Sword from FF7. We then melted down about 1700 Jolly Ranchers and poured them into the mold. Overnight the candy hardened (and didn’t crack… thank God). The result was this massive candy sword!!!

I was very impressed when it did not break on the first swing… the second swing was a direct hit for the watermelon and the sword sorta hung in there.
