Nike Slides actually shrink in the sun! But really this is because they shrink when heat is applied. Slides are made of EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) and when this material is heated it becomes pliable. This then allows the air bubbles inside the EVA foam to collapse, effectively pulling the material closer together and “shrinking” the overall volume. So uhhh don’t leave your slides in a hot car or out in the sun yall!!
