Squeaking, snorting, chirping, sneezing - whatever you call them - calls, sounds or noises - this Red Squirrel is thoroughly enjoying a cache of suet and sunflower seeds I put in a rotten tree to attract woodpeckers. Not ones to keep a low profile, Red Squirrels mostly make all these sounds/calls/noises to hopefully keep others away from them and their bounty.
