Squirrels Eating Wild Mushrooms

Late Fall is mushroom season in Florida and they sprout up in yards and forest floors everywhere.
It may not be well known, but gray squirrels in fact love mushrooms. They are of course omnivorous so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that they are foodies and love a good fungi when they can get them, but they can eat many mushrooms that would be poisonous or sicken humans with no obvious ill affects.
