Second Woodpecker Baby Leaves the Nest Box

After some more coaxing the second eldest left the nest box a little after noon today (August 1st) only one more to go and it should leave late this afternoon the live feed continues at: https://youtu.be/o0Z44l7dnNg
The camera is shut off every evening around 830 due to brutal mosquito attacks on the 3 nestlings as the heat from the IR camera and the light tends to draw more skeeters than normal so will restart feed in the morning around 8AM.
Red Bellied Woodpeckers moved into the nest box after the Screech Owls left. Woodpeckers are large, very loud and charismatic birds and the male is very involved in caring for and raising the hatchlings so this should be a lot of fun ! The male has the full red head and the female a white forehead so they are easy to tell apart on the color outside camera. You can use the slider at the bottom of the video and go back and review the past 12 hours.
