It takes a long time, and Owl's apparently have no gag reflex, but eventually the littlest owlet swallows an entire lizard bigger than it is and manages to get that last bit of tail down. Afterward looks like it needs an Alka Seltzer as you might expect. I don't think the little fellow will be eating again this night. This is a highlight from the live feed. The 3 owlets left the nest box around May 22nd. Note that there is also the remains of a mole in the nest box with those big front digging claws left uneaten.
