Mother Appalachian Cottontail Rabbit from last season is back this spring in the Great Smoky Mountains and she has some Ticks around her neck and back of head. She loves bird seed and spinach treats and remembered me from last year and seems to be doing fine. She no doubt has a clutch of rabbit kittens hidden somewhere in the always un-mown yard. Filmed again 10 days later most of the parasites are gone. She is still shedding her winter coat.
