Its nice to see Marsh Rabbits surviving with so many predators after them in the Backyard jungle, mainly Bobcats and Great Horned Owls can easily take adult rabbits. Baby rabbits are even more vulnerable, but they persist. Marsh Rabbits and Cottontail Rabbits both live in the Florida Backyard. But the elusive Marsh Rabbit is a rare small bunny that walks on all fours like a cat - has short little legs and ears and a small dark tail and rarely hops around. It has special feet and legs adapted for life in dense wet vegetation and is an excellent swimmer.
