Rare Wild American Umbrella Leaf Plant

The American Umbrella Leaf Plant, not to be confused with the common umbrella tree house plant, is a stunning wildflower endemic to the mid elevations of the southern Appalachians and Backyard North - They grow in dense clusters in very wet conditions, in this case 3500-4000 feet. Each plant has two leaves which can each grow to two feet in diameter. There is not another video in YouTube search on this plant in the wild, so it can't be too commonly encountered, although some gardeners have adapted it to grow in woodland gardens from seed. Always trying to bring you something new in Nature, also enjoy the bonus coverage of Jack in the Pulpit and May Apples.
