I was relaxing watching the fish starting to feed quite actively in the pool - smacking hard at the water - when I heard a loud splash and saw the first of what would be many river otters about to descend on this fish hot spot for breakfast. Oh Yes - Florida has River Otters and they can be quite large! For the next hour I was treated to a true feeding frenzy by a family or “lodge” as their called - of about 8 to 10 river otters just feet away.
