Screech Owl Nest Box Update for 2022 Season

A male Gray morph Eastern Screech owl has started roosting all day in the primary owl nest box.
Early December is the typical time the male screech owls start claiming nesting sites and territory and courting females in the Florida Backyard by calling in earnest each evening.
Egg laying usually starts in late February or early March with Fledging ending by early May.
So this first step marks the beginning of the 2022 owl season.
