Major announcement! I will be hosting my very first Netflix Show, called Blown Away which comes out this summer! It’s a competition reality show where 10 glass artist compete for a grand prize with one being eliminated each week!
I went up to the Corning Museum of Glass, in up state new york because not only did they contribute to the show in a major way but they also invited me here to do some science experiments inspired by their newest exhibit called New Glass Now.
New Glass Now features 100 of the best pieces of glass art from around the world. The exhibition is actually the outcome of a year long international search where more than 1,400 submissions were considered, so like, we’re about to look at the best of the best
Now one of the pieces immediately spawned an idea for a science experiment and that came from the piece “Things Change” from artist Maria Bang Espersen.
