We took some glass wine bottles and melted them down in our BBQ forge at around 1800-2200 degrees F. We then got the glass to a point where it made this SUPER INSANE glass formation… a cross between sonic the hedgehog and melted jolly rancher. Once it began to cool off it cracked (because it was not annealed) and it ended up looking like a glass T-Rex head and strange kryptonite looking crystal. Not sure chemically what happened here (why the glass behaved the way it did) but I really like the end result!
