To mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who we put together a list of the top Doctor Who villains you should be particularly scared of!

The Weeping Angels have an ingenious defence mechanism. When they're not observed they move quickly and silently. Deadly! But when they are observed they quantum lock and turn themselves into stone.

The Cybermen have a massive weakness to gold. Perhaps their weakness is due to an adverse chemical reaction.

And the Daleks, their incessant mantra Exterminate, Exterminate, Exterminate! They are genetically mutated root with a plunger as their weapon of mass destruction. Ok, well, not just a plunger, they also had the terrifying death ray. Death rays are directed energy weapons and the US Navy uses something similar against drones.
