Squirrel Bot Fly Infestation Documentary

I have dealt with the dreaded tree squirrel bot flies before in Florida, but have not seen any for quite a few years now, so I was surprised to witness five squirrels infested with bot flies high in the Great Smoky Mountains early in the Fall of 2022. Unfortunately the first squirrel infested succumbed to a single hidden bot fly see: https://youtu.be/mG3HHxw3_U4 and then I noticed 4 more squirrels over the next few weeks. All of them recovered fully.
